This is the Waiawa WCF front gate, where men exit and are released as “max outs” or parole. The CRSG Scheduler for WCF is Carolynn M. and Fr. Frank is holds the Master Schedule a consolidation of the three facilities of Oahu. Danyle is CRSG transporter (Uber).
Waiawa Correctional Facility (WCF) is a minimum-security prison for sentenced male inmates on Oahu, Hawaii, focused on rehabilitation and successful reentry into the community through education, substance abuse treatment, and vocational programs like carpentry. It offers programs for inmates to prepare for release, including family support centers, reentry fairs, and partnerships with community organizations, aiming to reduce recidivism. WCF is one of three state prisons on Oahu, managed by the Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR).
Prayers for the DCR and all inmates and those in reentry. 90% of all incarcerated will transition into “reentry” status.

A community “komo mai – meet & greet” at Halawa Correctional Facility
This is a ” komo mai-meet and greet” on the hillside at Halawa HCF. This inmate is wearing the blue paper reentry clothes issued to inmates with no clothing or resources. The CRSG will provided clothing as needed.
