APRIL 30TH Project Group at Cleveland Park years ago, in Honolulu commemorating President Grover Cleveland National Day of Prayer for the Restoration of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Cleveland’s Birthday is March 18th commemorated by many!
My great great grandmother Makanoi’i Nahuina Hukeko Kekoanui, born 1832, Ulupalakua, Maui County, lived and died in Wahiawa – Kemoo Plantation, died March 9th 1938, buried in the Kaahumanu Society Cemetery (Kapalama).
14 grandchildren and now 2 great grandchildren!

Queen Liliʻuokalani was baptized and confirmed into the Anglican Church (now the Episcopal Church in Hawaiʻi) by Bishop Alfred Willis on May 18, 1896, at St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Honolulu. Following her overthrow, she found solace in the Anglican faith and was confirmed during a period of imprisonment. She became a dedicated member, with her legacy remembered annually on January 29th as a Saint in the Episcopal Church & the world!
My Great Grandfather, Wilbur Romaine Patterson, was born Feb. 14, 1859, same day Oregon became a state.
He lived in Five Rivers Oregon.He had 24 children, 13 were Hawaiian and my grandmother – Esther Lee. He was an engineer came to Hawaii on his way to the Philippines, but stayed on Maui, married Lillian Pili Kekoanui. He was an engineer for the plantation and built the stone Wailuku Union Church.

HERE ARE THE MORNING PRAYERS – PRAY FOR HEALING OF THE LAND AND PEOPLE OF PLANET EARTH. CAUSE THE IMMEDIATE END TO THE WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST, PROTECT TO INNOCENT AND THE CHILDREN. HEALING MERCIES FOR COLLEEN AND THE PASCUA OHANA, AND NICk & KAYA, MERCY & now ZILDJIAN and all the OHANA.
