Mahalo Prayers this morning for the Community Reentry Support Group, and volunteers assisting with reentry clothing and bac pacs on Dec 4th at Kaumakapili Church. Mahalo to Kaumakapili Church for the prayers and support. We were joined by Monica Lortz and Cristy Yokoyama of the State Public Safety Reentry Office, they were a great support as were others. Special donations of clothing and bac pac supplies were provided by the Hawaii Yacht Club, Kaneohe Congregational Church, Ke Ola Mamo, St. Andrew, St. Stephen’s, Haili Church, and many others.

The Community Reentry Support Group is grateful for the prayers and support. Make a donation to TECH Prison Ministries – clothing and bac pacs and send to the Bishop’s Office at St. Andrew. January 17th has been designated an annual day to commemorate Queen Liliuokalani with a donation to the Prison Ministries Support Fund. Mahalo for your support.

Adventure Bac Pacs are provided to over 350 men and women annually at an estimated cost of about $10,000, this is reduced by churches providing 10-20 bac pacs, one or twice a year. Please contact the Bishop’s Office to learn about the Eke Kua Reentry Bac Pac Project.
