This morning had a CTSCAN at Queen’s West. Preceded by a four hour clear liquid fast. This imaging test helps detect internal injuries and disease by providing cross-sectional images of bones, blood … The technicians were very good, always a prayerful time. I’m grateful to the healer and life giver!

Spent the rest of the day with Akamai, at beach, and run thru the water sprinklers at Keaau Park, then holoholo in Kalaeloa, checking out the back roads.

At the Canoe Hale some measuring of canoe and the iako, designed for sailing. I am having a paddling set up made from hau.

Having a pair of hau iako being cut on Kauai by cousin Chris. He’ll soak them in the ocean and strip the bark to make kaula rope. Dry them out then send them to me.

Hau is so versatile, and useful. Great material for old style ama and iako.

Here’s old fiberglass ama, I’ll get a few other hands and attempt to do a mock rigging of the sailing gear, get ready to put it in a the ocean, wash it up and pule.

Here’s Akamai jump climbing over the gate (1 yr.)
