The Arc of justice leaning – but we must pull too, from the rising to the setting of the sun!

Yes….. The arc of the moral universe will bend toward justice—but only if we pull it

It does not bend towards justice on its own—no, it only does so because people pull it towards justice. It is an active exercise, not a passive one. (said Congresswoman Shantell Brown).

HERE ARE THE MORNING PRAYERS – PRAY FOR THOSE WHO OVERTURN THE TABLES IN THE TEMPLE

Last Sunday, I was assisting at St. Elizabeth, been working, organizing a Zone of Peace and Nonviolence involving churches and community partners, Kalihi Palama….. lot’s to do, It’s a good project, please put this on your prayer list. A Zone of Peace and Nonviolence creating a beloved community this is always a good thing to work on.

In many respects, this is what God is working on in our world, creating a culture of peace and nonviolence for the children of the world…..

Today Jesus is working on this Zone of Peace and Nonviolence in our Gospel lesson…. His actions and words are intended to bring about change and transformation. He does this by drawing attention to things, by using drama and dramatizing his words, concerns and intentions…. John 2:13-22

Last Sunday he was in Cesarea Philippi a sacred place with healing springs, sacred to the greeks, the Romans, the Jews, and many others.

But this Sunday he’s in Jerusalem the city that kills it’s prophets, and we see him in the Temple – the Luakini it says in the Baibala. The temple is being desecrated he is cleansing the temple!

In a way we see Jesus today working on creating a Zone of Peace and Nonviolence in the temple, to bring back to restore the sacredness and the mercy, justice, and reconciliation of the temple intended by God.

Lessons from some of the many
peacemakers and justice seekers,
notables in photo above are important
but most are ordinary everyday people
like you, we can learn much from each other!
Let’s make peace!
