WCCC MAKAHIKI SEASON OF PEACE

Yesterday I had a wonderful visit to the newly renovated WOMEN’ S COMMUNITY CORRECTIONAL CENTER (WCCC) and Chapel for a 2025 Makahiki Program. Mahalo to Chaplain Tammy and Warden Ione, and the many Women who attended. Our team included Arch Deacon Steve, Dr. Haaheo, Minister Mary. I forgot to bring two cameras so have no photos. I’ll get photos bext time we visit in March for closing Makahiki Ceremony. But in the meantime we will be starting a new weekly Hui Baibala. The photo above is from our Makahiki at the Halawa Correctional.

HERE ARE THE MORNING PRAYERS – PRAYERS FOR THE WOMEN AT THE WCCC, CHAPLAINS, WARDEN & ADMINISTRATION

I’m remembering Barbara Vlachos today who was a wonderful volunteer for many years in Makahiki. Barbara was a former President of the Iolani Guild and very active leader and member at St. Peter’s.
