Mahalo Rev Jenn from Holy Nativity for the support and blessing of Reentry Bac Pacs recently, here a past photo on the hillside above Halawa Correctional.
The above is a screen shot of a recent Facebook post. Mahalo to St. Stephen’s for all the prayers and support, in maintaining cleaning up, and wonderful outreach to homeless and families with limited resources! Here photo of free Electric charging station we built and Xal with Wahiawa Police. Xal and Nahealani and family, and Raquel, Glenn, Giovani, and many others were so dedicated to take care and watch over 123 Mango Street.

Glenn Wain our Yard Guy does a great job cutting the grass but also is our onsite “handyman”. He worked 15 years in maintanence at Kukui Plaza Apts., and Keahi Lagoon Boat repair, is an expert in repairing boats, plumbing, electrical, and fixing cars, scooters and weed wackers. Mahalo to God for sending us such talent!

Here’s Glenn this week, adding a temporary Storage Cabinet where the old commercial stove was, in the kitchen, for electric and gas warmers and hot plates. Glenn will also replace the three old sink faucets, and add a new tankless hot water system. The kitchen needs a major renovation in a few years. But if you like to clean, paint, replace the flooring, or anything else, please let me know. Prayers for our Kitchen!

Our good friend Malia posted FB about her father Kumu Sam Kaai carving this Hawaiian Jesus in St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. It reminds me of the one we have at St. Stephen’s! Kumu Kaai is a well known cultural practitioner who developed many protocols and ceremonial traditions for Hokule’a, Puukohola, and many others. We aloha and mahalo Kumu Kaai, and prayers for him and Ohana!
