Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Kahu Abraham Akaka of Kawaiahao Church hosted a visit by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King who preached at Kawaiahao Church – a month after Hawaii Statehood in 1959 and became close friends. We study today the Illegality of the Overthrow & Annexation of the Kingdom and Statehood, and the Apologies of the United Churches of Christ, National Council of Churches, and U.S. Congress in 1993 and 1994, and now many other legal determinations in the current ongoing justice and reconciliation processes occurring. Prayers!
