COFO ALOHA: Sharing Food and sharing love at the Towers – Kuhio Park Terrace (every last Tuesday).

COFO ALOHA is a food outreach, food security, and disaster preparedness project of St. Stephen’s w/ Hawaii Food Bank, Whole Foods, Aloha Harvest, and community partners at over 20 sites emerging out of the pandemic of 2020.

Peas KPT (Kuhio Park Terrace) is the COFO ALOHA (PJRC) food share site in Kalihi every 4th or last Tuesday, this area I was a site of gun violence – driven by shootings recently.

This photo is at Towers B in front of the Pacific Peace Center (PJRC), where the COFO crew are volunteers at concluding and cleaning up after over 100 families received food (5000 lbs.) from Hawaii Food Bank. The two Towers of KPT have 555 units, (2273 residents) mostly Pacific Islanders, and the surrounding area is also privatized Public Housing managed by
Better Tomorrow.
